I Know What It’s Like to Wonder What Comes Next.
I know what it feels like to build a business, carry the responsibility for it, and eventually face the question of what comes next.
As co-founder and CEO of Mosie Baby, I helped create the at-home insemination category in women’s health and led the company from an idea to a patented, FDA-cleared class 2 medical device. We grew from a direct-to-consumer startup into a brand sold through healthcare partners and more than 4,000 retail stores, ultimately serving more than 125,000 families.
Along the way, I raised institutional capital, navigated manufacturing and regulatory hurdles, and experienced the complicated reality of being responsible for employees, investors, customers, and a company I cared deeply about.
When it came time to consider an exit, I found myself in a position many founders know well: vulnerable, uncertain, and trying to figure out which advice was genuinely useful and which services were simply being sold to me. I struggled to find an advisor who understood both the transaction and what the decision meant from the founder’s side, emotionally and financially.
I ultimately led Mosie Baby through its strategic acquisition myself, from preparing the data room and navigating due diligence to negotiating deal terms and managing the post-close transition.
That experience shaped the way I work today.
“Through Exit with Mo, I help founders and business owners understand what their business may be worth, explore their options, and decide what comes next.”
My work includes focused exit strategy sessions, business valuations, and market readiness assessments, and I often serve as the confidential first conversation before an owner is ready to talk to employees, investors, buyers, or even family.
My approach is intentionally founder-focused and situational. I have been the founder on the other side of the table, and I know how vulnerable that moment can be. I also know what it feels like to sort through advice, trying to understand what is genuinely useful and what is simply being sold.
That experience made me deeply protective of founders’ time, money, and trust. I will not recommend a service, engagement, or transaction unless I believe it genuinely serves the founder’s goals. Sometimes the most useful thing I can do is help someone decide what not to do.
I also do not believe every owner needs months of consulting, a transaction, or even an exit. Sometimes one, two, or three thoughtful conversations are enough to help someone get oriented and move in the right direction.
When selling is the right path, I can also represent business owners through my M&A work with Lion Business Advisors, helping with valuation, market preparation, buyer conversations, offers, due diligence, and closing.
