Every engagement starts with a free 20-minute call.
Before anyone books anything, Mo talks with them first. It’s free and private, and it’s how she figures out whether she can actually help, and what would help most. Some people move quickly to sharing financials and engaging in advisory work. Some are ready to engage a valuation package. Some leave knowing they don’t need to do anything yet. All are good outcomes.
Mo only takes on clients she knows she can help.

If you went to market today, what could you expect?
Before you commit to selling, it helps to know four things: what the business is worth, who would likely buy it, whether a buyer could get financing, and what an offer might actually look like. The Market Readiness Assessment answers all four. If the number is what you need first, a valuation on its own is the place to start.

Not sure which? If you’re seriously weighing a sale, the Market Readiness Assessment gives you the whole picture. If you mainly want to understand the number, start with a valuation. Either way, Mo will talk it through with you before anything is booked.
Valuation and assessment reports are prepared by Lion Business Advisors, the valuation and M&A firm Mo works with, and arrive on their letterhead. Turnaround starts once we have complete records. These are valuations for sale and exit planning, not certified valuations; certified valuations are available separately if a lender or court requires one. Estimates are not guaranteed offers, loan approval, or a commitment to list. Named buyers show possible fit, not interest, and no one is contacted.
Not ready for a call? Start with the Exit Conversation.
The Exit Conversation is a free, private tool that helps you think through where you stand: what you want, what the business could support, and which paths are realistic.
Go at your own pace. When you’re done, you’ll get a written summary by email, and you can decide from there whether to talk with Mo.
Other ways Mo can help
Depending on where you are, these can come before, alongside or after a valuation. As with everything on this page, Mo talks it through with you first.
Common questions
Can I buy a service on this website?
No. Every engagement starts with a free 20-minute call or an email. Mo only takes on clients she knows she can help. Once you agree on a path forward, she sends a proposal.
What does the first call cost?
Nothing. It’s 20 minutes, private, and there’s no obligation afterward.
How long does a business valuation take?
About 1 week for a Value Snapshot, about 2 weeks for a Full Valuation, and about 4 weeks for a Valuation + Exit Plan. The clock starts once complete records are in.
Is this a certified valuation?
No. These are broker valuations prepared for sale and exit planning by a senior advisor at Lion Business Advisors, the valuation and M&A firm Mo works with. If a lender or court requires a certified valuation, one can be arranged separately.
What’s the difference between a valuation and a Market Readiness Assessment?
A valuation tells you what the business may be worth. The Market Readiness Assessment adds who would likely buy it, whether a buyer could get financing, what an offer might look like, and a conversation about whether to go to market now.
Do I have to sell my business?
No. Sometimes the most useful outcome is deciding what not to do. Mo also helps owners step back, plan a transfer, or close a business well.
Do you work outside my state?
Yes. Sale representation is available in every state except Colorado.
Not sure which one you need?
That’s normal. Most people aren’t. Start with a free 20-minute call with Mo, and you’ll leave knowing what makes sense next.
Prefer to write first? Send Mo a note.
Private by design. No pressure.
